I grew up in Bolivar, Missouri and am a total Midwest girl at heart. When I graduated high school, I attended Harding University and studied Marketing & Communication. I started Gethsemane Photography in my freshman dorm room, and it became my mission to become an entrepreneur when I graduated.
I love the Lord with my whole heart, and desire to make Him known. I consider photography as my ministry. It is my desire for my clients to leave their session feeling seen, known, and loved.
My mission is to capture genuine joy- so whenever you're ready, book your session and be ready to be blown away!

Why Gethsemane? What's it mean? How do you even say it? (It's geth-sem-ah-nee)
When I was in high school, my family went to Israel to explore the footsteps of Jesus. It was there that I had the privilege of walking through the Garden of Gethsemane, the place where Jesus prayed before his arrest.
Walking through the garden, I was touched by the tenderness of the place. Jesus experienced deep sorrow in the garden, which led to greater joy on the cross.
When I started my photography business, I knew I wanted to name it after Gethsemane, because in a way, we all have our personal "Gethsemanes" to walk through. If you've met the love of your life, you've probably walked through heartbreak. If you're graduating high school, you may be grieving the loss of life as you know it.
Beautiful moments are often born of adversity. I feel deeply honored to have been chosen to capture your beautiful moments, and work with you in this process.
